On July 26th, 2025, our beautiful baby boy, Mason Antuofermo, came into the world and instantly stole our hearts. We never imagined that just days later, we would learn that Mason tested positive for X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD) — a rare and life-threatening genetic condition that affects the brain, nervous system, and adrenal glands.

Right now, Mason is happy, loved, and surrounded by family — but X-ALD can progress quickly. The treatments he will need are urgent and critical to giving him the best chance at a long, healthy life.
